Introduction to Silversmithing

Learn with us the basics of silversmithing- from creating hammered textures and metal filing techniques, to soldering silver. You'll come to find that silversmithing is not as daunting as it appears to be! All silver used in class is nickel free and hypoallergenic.

This workshop is aimed at complete beginners who wish to try their hands on silversmithing and basic soldering. Get the chance to make your very own pair of ear studs with traditional silversmithing methods! You will also learn after-care for your jewellery pieces to upkeep the silver in it's tip-top condition.

Duration per session : 2 hours
You will take home : Your own hand-made pair of 925 Sterling Silver ear studs
All materials and light refreshments will be provided.

This workshop is suitable for adults and children above 12 years old. As a soldering torch will be used, children under 16 should require the supervision of a participating adult.
